As a Sr. Accountant in our DataServ team, you will play a leading role in our Accounting and Financial Services team as
you prepare, analyze, and compile financial activities and statements for our growing organization. This position will report
to our Controller and work cross-functionally with the operations, finance, and executive leadership teams.
On a day-to-day basis, this role executes normal accounting operations, reconciliations, and closes, and supports finance
in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and projections. If you enjoy executional accounting, financial

What you’ll do:
? Represent DataServ in a positive manner to colleagues, customer base and vendors.
? Play a pivotal role in maintaining clean and accurate accounting records
? Lead and support all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations, reconciliations, and monthly and annual closings
o Review and post, or accrue, revenue and expense entries and maintain associated schedules
o Ensure proper matching and allocation of costs against revenue to comply with GAAP, company policies,
and regulatory requirements
o Monitor and analyze employee expense reimbursement
o Assist with sales commission calculations, reconciliations, and payments to applicable team members
o Manage inventory workflow, tracking valuation and reconcile monthly
o Conduct thorough analysis to identify and rectify discrepancies and variances in revenue or expenses
o Maintain and reconcile supporting sub-ledgers
o Monitor and proactively manage accounts receivable and payable
o Monitor and forecast cash flow and reconcile weekly

o Analyze, prepare and file sales and use tax reporting
o Assist with the review and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
o Support monthly, quarterly, and annual business and departmental financial statement preparation
o Assist with annual external audits and income tax filings
o Provide redundancy and backup support for other team members
? Support the Controller and CFO with financial analysis and forecasting and the advancement of accounting
operations
o Assist with the development and implementation of new accounting and business policies and procedures
o Provide financial insights to support decision making and strategic planning
o Assist with preparation and creation of annual budget and quarterly reforecasts
? All other duties as assigned.
Additional proficiencies we seek:
• Experience with project and recurring revenue recognition and sales and use tax
• Experience with private equity or other institutional investment preferred
• Deep understanding of G/L software systems
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and written communications and time management skills
• Critical and analytical thinking skills
What we require:
? Bachelor’s or advanced degree preferred
? 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting
? Good working knowledge and understanding of complex and technical GAAP-compliant accounting
? Possess a natural curiosity and drive to continuously improve
? Honesty, integrity, and the desire to contribute to and support a close-knit team
? Pre-employment drug screening required
