The Information Systems and Technology (IST) Project Scheduler will join the fast-growing Client Services team to act as a liaison between internal teams and for DataServ customers. This individual will work cross-functionally with operations, finance, and engineering teams. Additionally, this person must love to solve problems as this role must be capable of handling the unexpected changes or schedule conflicts that will occur.

On a day-to-day basis, the IST Project Scheduler will be a pivotal point of contact for scheduling and coordinating 40+ small to medium sized projects involving numerous types of technology across both education and commercial markets. DataServ client projects range from hardware upgrades to enterprise installation of new technology systems.

Pre-employment driver’s license check, background check, and drug screening are required.

Key responsibilities:

• Schedule internal kickoff meetings for review of customer installation projects
• Coordinate and schedule customer facing project kickoff meetings
• Create meeting agendas in advance of project meetings as well as identify attendees and their contributions/deliverables for each meeting
• Produce project kickoff meeting notes and assign associated action items
• Participate in customer facing interactions, primarily phone/video calls, on a daily basis
• Assist with administrative efforts, including but not limited to, scheduling, time tracking, data entry, revenue recognition forecasting, expense reporting
• Establish post-project documentation ensuring smooth handoff from implementation team(s)
• Act as a liaison between installation and sales teams to communicate project updates
• Develop processes and procedures to accurately track and document project deliverables, licenses, hardware serial numbers, etc.
  
  Preferred experience and skill sets:
• Prioritize, assign, and manage projects in order to utilize Engineering team skillsets efficiently
• Develop project timelines and effectively communicate pre-requisites and contingencies to internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with using productivity tools and scheduling software to enhance efficiencies in managing multiple engineers and project schedules and deadlines
• Understand resource utilization and capacity planning, preferred experience utilizing utilization and capacity planning tools
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills are crucial for handing unexpected changes of conflicts of schedule changes
